PocketBook Touch Lux 2 is a winner of Red Dot Award 2014

PocketBook Touch Lux 2 has won for Red Dot - world’s most prestigious product design award.

Red Dot Design Award by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen is an internationally renowned product design competition. Its prize has established itself worldwide as one of the most sought-after quality marks for excellent design. It’s worth mentioning, that it’s not the 1-st one Red Dot Award for the company: in 2012 PocketBook A10  Android tablet won the first Red Dot Award for PocketBook.

This year, the international jury of experts evaluated 4 815 entries from 53 countries. The new PocketBook E Ink flagship device convinced the 40-member expert jury to be one of the best in the Product Design category.

PocketBook Touch Lux 2 is a wonderful gift for all e-reading fans. LED frontlight allows reading even in low light conditions while a powerful 1 GHz processor and 256 MB of RAM provide smooth and fast response of any application. 4 GB of internal memory, expandable up to 32 GB promises a big library that is always at hand. The final ceremony will be celebrated in Essen, Germany, on the 7th of July 2014. Red Dot winners will be represented during the traditional Red Dot Gala and subsequent Designers’ Night. After the ceremony PocketBook Touch Lux 2 will be represented to a wide audience at all winners’ exhibition before it enters to the Red Dot museum.
