In April 2014 PocketBook entered Dutch market, therefore today PocketBook devices are represented in 30 countries.
PocketBook, the fourth largest manufacturer of E Ink readers, during the years of its existence have presented more than 30 models of E Ink e-reading devices and Android tablets to the global market. As of December 2013 the company sold 2,000,000 devices.
Competitive advantages, among which are the high quality and unique product design, multi-format and multi-language localization of devices allow the company to gain fans confidently worldwide. For instance, in the second half of 2012, the company entered new markets of the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Latvia a year later PocketBook market share in these countries was about 27%, 32% and 50% respectively.
In the beginning of 2014, PocketBook devices were available for electronic reading fans in 29 countries in Western, Central and Eastern Europe, CIS and Baltic countries as well as in Israel, Paraguay, Australia, New Zealand and others. In Western Europe company's products are available in Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Austria.
The company continues to expand its presence in Europe. From now PocketBook devices are also represented in the Netherlands and will soon be available in other Benelux countries.
PocketBook is not going to slow down and the expanding of the geography of sales is planned mostly with the new Central and Western Europe markets.
