PocketBook Partners With Petcube to Distribute its Revolutionary Pet Camera in the EU

Switzerland-based PocketBook International S.A., which is one of the biggest world’s producers of E Ink devices, well known for its high quality products, is announcing a distribution agreement with Petcube, Inc., the company that keeps people connected with their pets.

According to the agreement, announced first at IFA 2015, PocketBook  became the exclusive distributor of Petcube Camera in the European Union. Petcube Camera is the the first gadget that lets pet owners watch, talk to, and play with their pet, no matter where they are, from their smartphones. The wide-angle, Wi-Fi-enabled camera with real-time video and built-in laser pointer is controlled through Petcube’s free iOS and Android applications. Petcube’s mobile apps form a community of pet lovers, allowing anyone to share pet photos, find new friends and play with publicly shared pets. Petcube, named Best European Hardware Startup by The Europas, is also collaborating with the Design House RnD64, the sole developer of PocketBook products.

After a successful Kickstarter campaign and a year in development Petcube Camera was delivered to Kickstarter backers and early customers in December 2014. The first batch was totally sold out before Christmas. This year Petcube entered the biggest retail chains in North America, like Amazon, Best Buy, Brookstone, Fry’s, B&H etc, appeared on the shelves of Virgin Megastore Dubai and partnered with a number of premium resellers in Hong Kong. In Autumn 2015 Petcube enters the markets of United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and, in partnership with PocketBook,  the European Union market.
